New Zealand, it’s finally happening! 🇳🇿 For the first time ever, the LZ World Tour is heading to New Zealand’s Taupo Motorsport Park, where we couldn’t be more excited to bring the action to your doorstep!

This iconic circuit is a bucket-list destination, and we’re ready to put on an unforgettable show with some of the biggest names in drifting, insane tandem battles, and that electric atmosphere that makes the LZ World Tour so special. But this event is about more than just the driving—it’s about bringing the community together. We know how passionate the NZ drift scene is, and we’re here to celebrate that with you.

Alongside the on-track chaos, expect a massive car show, vendor village, and plenty of attractions to keep the energy high all weekend long. This is our first-ever New Zealand event, and tickets are expected to sell fast—so don’t miss your chance to be part of history. Event Format:
For the 2025 LZ World Tour, we’re using the epic format we came up with in years gone by – The Last Chance Top 16 model! 29 drivers will enter our Qualifying session on the first day of this LZ World Tour event, where all 29 drivers will Qualify in positions 1st-29th. Drivers who place from 1st-13th in Qualifying will automatically make it into our Day 2 “Main Show” Top 16. However, drivers who Qualifying from 14-29th will go head-to-head in our Day 1 “Last Chance Top 16” competition, with the Top 3 finishers making it through to the main show! Fun, right?

Outside of the competition though, on track there’ll be plenty of jam sessions and other fun things like fantasy battles, exhibition laps and lots more for you to enjoy, as well as a car show, vendors and more to take a look around!
